About Seacoast Bites

Seacoast Bites grew from a deep appreciation for the vibrant local food system in New England—one shaped by dedicated farmers, makers, bakers, and cheesemongers.

Founder Lucy Barretto grew up on the Seacoast and has spent years working in hospitality and alongside small, locally owned businesses. While living in Boston, she became a cheesemonger and buyer at a neighborhood wine shop. That experience—tasting and caring for cheese, connecting with producers, and sharing their stories with customers—sparked a lasting passion for local food and the people behind it.

What We Do

Seacoast Bites brings together a curated collection of cheeses and provisions predominantly from New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont, offering:

  • CSA subscriptions featuring local cheese and fresh baguettes, available weekly or bi-weekly
  • Wholesale supply tailored for restaurants and specialty retailers
  • Catering and small events focused on celebrating local cheese and seasonal pairings
