We are losing the restaurant owned by Leaven Bakery in Somersworth at the end of September. I have had the joy of meeting and learning from Emmett Soldati, one of the Leaven owners. Emmett is not only an inspiration to aspiring foodies, but is also a dream-boat of a baker. Leaven is closing its doors to focus and pursue their wholesale bread baking which means we will still be able to find their levitating goods at local grocery stores and farmers markets. We will miss their events, their warm gathering place, and their wonderful dishes. Stay tuned for an updated list of retailers and markets carrying their breads in our upcoming Fall Farmers Market update.
